When the end came it wasn’t in
nuclear fire it was a government imploded by its own corruption, an epidemic
that didn’t discriminate and zero electricity. With the world unplugged pockets
of humans remain. Beatrix, a fair trade activist returns to her west coast
neighbourhood and tries to help rebuild a community. Carson, a former High
School Principle leaves New York on foot, determined to reach his love,
Beatrix. On his odyssey, Carson comes across the best and worst of our kind and
bands of ‘Pilgrims’ drawn towards a ‘promised land’ by a charismatic preacher
and his radio broadcasts to the nation.
Will Carson and Beatrix be re-united.
What kind of life rises from the ashes of our old one. Is there hope for
humanity?
