Twentysomething bartender Jason
Bishop's last memory of his father is hazy; as usual Damon was on his way to
somewhere else, away from the son he'd kept at arms length since Jason's birth. Now Damon
is dead and Jason is about to learn that his father wasn’t a business man at all, he
was a level five mage, a very powerful one and the group that Damon worked for
wants to recruit Jason. They are searching the world for a ancient artifact and Jason’s
